I’ve been out of the blog thing for a bit. And being out of the blog thing means that I have also been out of the lifting regularly and eating keto thing too.

*insert frustrated sigh here*

The last month and a half has been really busy and hectic. Nate got a new job when I was still adjusting to my job. I had some super busy job-related weekends that totally knocked me out for a week after each one. (We had two soapmakers’ conferences and let me tell you, three 12 hours days in a row with constant social interaction is EXHAUSTING for this extroverted introvert. Hence the week recovery)

Anywho.

As a result of all of that, lifting and eating keto regularly kind of took a backseat. It’s not like I just torpedoed everything and stopped lifting entirely. I just stopped lifting so regularly. Translation: I was really bad at getting to the gym on Fridays and sometimes Wednesdays.

It was no good.

My body was really upset with me for getting out of the routine. I felt gross and sluggish and had some weird stomach things.

Granted, the stomach things were most likely related to not eating totally keto…

Again, I didn’t just eat all the carbs all the time, but there was some pizza and a little bit of pasta and more wine than usual. So yeah…body was not happy. Not happy at all.

It is high time to get back on track.

Back on track with getting to the gym. Back on track with keto. Back on track with counting my macros. Back on track with intermittent fasting. Back on track with my lifestyle.

So, this is a blog to signal to myself and everyone else that I am recommitting to the lifestyle I started in January.

When my lifestyle is on the right track everything is easier and better. I am more focused. My emotions are more in check. My body feels strong and healthy and I can stay focused and determined on meeting my goals.

I am committing now to write at least two new blogs a week. I know I can do it. And it’s high time I get back on the accountability train. So…

Here we go.
